Wedding, Friends, and Monuments

I took my first vacation since starting my grownup job. I went out to DC to visit friends and then drive down to North Carolina for a wedding. While in DC I stayed with my friends Neal & Candice and during the day would meet up with my friend Kathy to sightsee. It was a quick trip, four days in DC and 1 day in NC. It was kind of like trying to do Disneyland in 1/2 a day, but we managed to squeeze in a lot in a short amount of time.

Not pictured: The international Spy Museum, The Vietnam War Memorial, and on my last day after Kathy left I went to the Holocaust Museum.

These were great videos / clips ... the girls (married or engaged - Congratulations to K.) don't look one day older than the last time I saw them in 2004/2005.
The beautiful bride has such a nice smile - I wish them all the luck in the world.

How fun! What a great trip--you sure managed to squeeze in a lot. (I don't think I saw half as much during a whole mission in DC...) :) Also, a friendly shout out to Jordan and Kathy--it was fun to see their faces again.

D.C. looks beautiful. I've yet to get to that side of the country but want to visit in the next few years.

Thanks for sharing the pictures! It was so great getting to see you and Kathy (and Neal and Candice) again! You totally need to move to DC.

The retirement center near our church just changed its name to "Emeritus." If that's not a sign, then I don't know what is...
