Many hats

On Sunday I was a maintenance worker when I was called in to handle a flood caused by a lady who thought the appropriate response to a clogged toilet was to flush it more.

On Monday, I was a manger as I organized a team of employees and volunteers to tackle the problem of updating our employee and resident records in response to our recent inspection by the Department of Social Services.

On Tuesday, I was a location scout as I met with a film crew that is interested in using the retirement home as a location for their next film.

On Wednesday, I was a delivery boy as I went to pick up dinner for the resident from the other retirement community which caters our meals.

On Thursday, I was an executive as I met with the president of the company to discuss the budget for the ongoing renovations.

On Friday, I was an interior designer as I poured over tile samples and tried to choose the right art deco design for the front entrance.

Tomorrow is Saturday, and I'm hoping I can just be me.
