Haircut

I hate getting my haircut. I never know what to ask for, perhaps because I don't know what I want. I have fine hair that knows how to do one thing, flop. So that's what I usually stick with is my floppy haircut that I have had since my hair first grew in. I deviated from that look for a while when I came to LA and felt the need to try and be a little more fashion conscious. Feeling bold I went to a friend who cut hair and told him he could do anything that he wanted as long as he didn't dye it, buzz it, or shave anything into it. I liked the look for the first little while but eventually found that it was just too much effort to make sure every hair was perfectly out of place.

I have since returned to a much more laissez-faire approach. I let it do what it does until it gets to the point that it's just too long to ignore anymore. That's when I go and have them chop it back again. It may not be the most trendy look but it doesn't involve me waking up early and I figure over the course of the year I end up saving lots of money on product and haircuts. Today my hair had reached that critical point on the back of my neck where I couldn't take it anymore. After twenty minutes of snipping and styling she left my hair perfectly styled. I walked out, a breeze blew, and it flopped. All is right in the world.
